The Quran claims no falsehood can touch it (41:42). Yet it places Haman with Pharaoh in Moses’ time, ordered to build a tower (28:38; 40:36–37).
History places Haman in Persia under Xerxes in the 5th century BC (Book of Esther; Encyclopaedia Iranica). No Egyptian record shows any high official named Haman under Pharaoh.
Same name. Wrong country. Wrong century — nearly 1,000 years apart.
This error devastates the claim that the Quran is perfect.
Do not follow blindly. Test the evidence. The Jewish historian Josephus, who was not a Christian, records that Jesus was crucified under Pilate and that his followers reported he appeared alive again on the third day. Scholars accept this as his own words. He wrote about 60 years later because Roman and elite Jewish authorities did not yet see Jesus as a major political figure, and ancient historians typically recorded such people only after their movement had grown large enough to matter.
