The mission, as Isaiah 61:1–3 calls us, is to bring the good news of Jesus Christ. The image on the Shroud of Turin provides undeniable evidence of His life, crucifixion, and resurrection—bringing hope to the brokenhearted, freedom to captives, comfort to those in mourning, and inviting all to encounter the living Savior.

The following stories show how God uses this miraculous image to reach hearts everywhere:

For example:

Judaism: Marty Barrack, raised in a conservative Jewish household in the Bronx, married a Catholic woman in 1967 but remained Jewish for 20 years. In 1979, after moving to Burke, Virginia, he experienced a profound sense of calling from Jesus while walking past a newly built church. Studying the Shroud of Turin convinced him of Christ’s Resurrection, and after a period of prayer and discernment, he was baptized into Christianity.

Atheist: British filmmaker David Rolfe, who began as a self-professed atheist investigating the Shroud for a documentary, became convinced of its authenticity and converted to Christianity, stating, "I started off as an atheist, and then became an agnostic. And I'm now a Christian, because I cannot possibly understand anything else that could have produced that image."

Agnostic: Dr. August Accetta, a physician who approached the Shroud as an agnostic after years of scientific study, concluded it is the burial cloth of Jesus, leading him to embrace Catholicism and found the Shroud Center of Southern California.

Skeptic: Dr. Jeremiah J. Johnston, a New Testament scholar and former Shroud skeptic, now affirms it as "real evidence to... the Resurrection of Jesus," citing pollen from Jerusalem and other forensic details that shifted his view.

Islam: Nabeel Qureshi, raised in a devout Muslim (Ahmadi) family, later converted to Christianity and wrote Seeking Allah, Finding Jesus about his journey from Islam to faith in Christ. In his book, he mentions the Shroud of Turin, noting the image as part of the discussions on evidence for Jesus’ death and resurrection.

Buddhist: Michael Lim, born in the Buddhist-rooted heart of Singapore, converted to Christianity from Buddhism. In his talks, he shares how the Shroud of Turin became one of the pivotal signs that ignited his conviction in the historical reality of Jesus Christ, portraying it as irrefutable evidence of the crucifixion and resurrection.
